HUNG blames KUEN for failing to stop TAN and YAN getting close to each other. She is unhappy to see them sharing a drink. She hopes that PO will talk to her younger sister and tell her to break up with YAN as soon as possible. She tells PO YAN has once made her lime tea. PO believes a man makes a good son-in-law as long as he respects his mother-in-law and loves his wife. HUNG does not agree. KWAN WING-SHAN, a colleague of WAN who has recently broken up with her boyfriend, cries in NING-ON’s café. YAN cheers her up. PO wonders why he is always so optimistic. He then tells her something that happened to him when he was a child and changed his life. YAN drops HUNG’s wallet accidentally on the floor as he is tidying up. He picks it up. HUNG wrongly believes that he is stealing her money. HUNG’s lottery ticket has gone missing. She wants to report this to the police, believing YAN must have taken it.
